October 2022 Newsletter

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

Keeping Your Experience in God Fresh: "Wherefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.” (2 Timothy 1:6)  In this text, the apostle Paul is encouraging us all to never become satisfied with our experience in Christ. We can never be satisfied with the level of growth which we have reached in our quest to know the Lord better. We should be like the apostle Paul, as he himself pressed towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14) Let us be baptized with the Holy Spirit and allow God to use us in the gifts of the Spirit. Let us constantly be seeking the Lord for more of Himself in our lives. All of this comes about as we seek the presence of our Lord daily and meditate in His Word.

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kianyaga, Kenya: Mugo reports that the leaders’ seminar that he ministered in at Kamulu in Nairobi was good and successful. He held a regional pastors’ seminar at Muchatha in Chuka. In addition, he ministers at his home churches in Kavote and Kianyaga each week. He asks for prayers because of the drought for the second year. Cows are dropping dead from thirst.

Community of the Assemblies of God in Africa (C.A.D.A.F.), Congo:

Assemblies of God Bible College, Bukavu: Director Aoci Ebongya reports that seven students will be graduating in 2022. There are twenty eight students who have enrolled for the First Trimester 2022-23.

Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi: Director Mulanda K. Gabriel reports that only one student qualified to graduate in 2022. Fourteen students are enrolled for the First Trimester 2022-23.

Ralph and Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Bible Outreach Ministries,  International Bible College, Kalemie, Congo: Stephanie writes, I.B.C. has about sixteen students. Thibiti Schools have about 1,150 day students in the primary and secondary schools. God’s goodness has brought great victory. Of all the 106 students sent for state testing, only one did not pass! Stephanie has used the funds sent for her to purchase a sack of milk for the orphan babies. She can use those funds to buy a 140 kg sack of corn to help feed the prisoners.

Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College, Nairobi, Kenya: Kennedy Maina writes, he appreciates the support that comes as a stream of water through a dry land. It always refreshes and encourages so much. The college has resumed. In November we will have our graduation. The church ministry is growing well by the grace of God. We are intending to expand the sanctuary as the Lord has increased the harvest. Keep us in prayers.

Pentecostal Free Church, Samwel Ratanga, Migori, Kenya: Pastor Samwel writes that he has been reaching out to his community and sharing the Gospel. They have seen some wonderful results. He is in the process of rebuilding his house.

Ruth Scott Kellie, Nanyuki, Kenya: Kellie writes that she is so grateful for our support. Samwel and Charles were supposed to go to Nairobi about the titles for their plots. She really appreciated the pamphlet, “A Harmonic Outline of End-Time Prophecy”, which was sent out last month. Samwel is so thankful for the support he is receiving. He will use it to help buy food for some older people.

Gospel Crusade Ministry, Suyapa Ramirez, LeCeiba, Honduras: Ramirez writes, they have changed the worship to Sunday evenings. They are praying for a bus to bring church members who live far from the church. They are feeding the children of the Borda of Cangrejai River every Saturday.

Yours together in His harvest,

Charles Willner
