Statement of Faith

We Believe...

  1. The Oneness of God manifested in three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. (Deut. 6:4, 1 John 5:7)

  2. That Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. (Mat. 1:20-23)

  3. That Jesus lived a sinless life, overcoming all temptations and was therefore able to offer Himself as the Spotless Lamb, to atone for the sins of all mankind. (Heb. 4:15, John 1:29)

  4. That every person is born in sin and is under the bondage of death. (Rom. 3:23)

  5. That the only salvation is by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ who has purchased complete salvation by His shed blood. (1 Peter 1:18,19, Eph. 2:8,9)

  6. That the Christian should be baptised in water in the name of Jesus as an act of obedience to show separation from the world and his entrance into a new life in Christ. (Rom. 6:3-12)

  7. That all Christians are to manifest the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. (Gal. 5:22-25)

  8. That the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to the believer, to be joined to the church, to enable the Christian to live an overcoming life in Christ and to enable the believer to be an effective witness to win others to Christ. (1 Cor. 12:13, Rom. 8:15,16, Acts 1:8)

  9. That the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to believers to manifest the revelation, power, and utterance to be an effective witness for the Lord. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

  10. That God has given ministry gifts to the church, for the perfection of the saints, in order that they may do the work of the ministry, until the Christian comes to maturity in Christ. (Eph. 4:11-13)

  11. That the Lord Jesus Christ shall personally return to set up His kingdom on earth; to raise the dead, to be manifested in His saints and to judge everyone according to the deeds done while they were alive in their bodies. (Dan. 12:1-4, Mat 24:29-31, 1 Cor.15:51-54, 1 Thess. 4:14-17, 2 Thess. 2:1-8, Rev. 19:7-20:6)

  12. That the righteous will receive everlasting life with God and the wicked will suffer everlasting torment with the devil. (Dan 12:2, Mat 25:46, Rev. 20:11-15, Rev. 21:1-8)
