Samuel Ratanga New Building

Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry. The Everlasting Covenant: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ... So God created man in his image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them..” (Genesis 3:26,27)

The creation of man into this world was a purposeful, and complete plan. The Elohim God met with Himself to discuss how he would make a people in His own image. He knew that in order to create man who would choose to worship and obey Him, He had to allow them to fall and turn their backs on Him. Therefore, He provided a Savior from before the foundation of the earth. It is no wonder that when Jesus faced the Cross of the Covenant, “He fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (Matthew 26:39)

May we also surrender our will to the cross and be blessed by the Everlasting Covenant. “Whose names are ... written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8) Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kenya: Mugo reports that in September he has been ministering in his home area of Kirinyaga. The seventies were a time of revival there. A blind Anglican evangelist, Kathenge, led many to the Lord. Let us unite to pray for revival there again. Mugo reports that in November they are moving their temporary church building to their new church plot. Pray that Mugo will be able to sell his old vehicle. Also, would you pray that the Lord will raise up faithful brethren to help Mugo in the ministry of the Omega Pentecostal Churches. Samwel Ratanga, Free Pentecostal Church, Migori, Kenya: Ratanga writes, I am grateful for the spiritual and financial support you have offered to the church which has enabled the church project to move to a level were it is currently. Only the steel trusses and roofing and other finishing work like painting, plastering, are remaining. It will cost approximately $16,000 for the roofing. We have organized another fund-raising for Sunday, October 28. Another donation has been sent to help with construction. Richard & Kathy McDonald, Radio Kahuzi, Bukavu, Congo: We are beginning to take down the four long and heavy metal antenna poles which cover an area the size of a football field. They were installed in 2001 when HCJB Engineering came. We are moving them over to the new studio, to build a huge FM antenna support structure. The shortwave antenna and transmitter are working. The D / M Family write; Surely the Love of our LORD shall be our strength and stay. Radiotherapy treatment ended on October 4. The doctor has just told us there will have to buy medicines, which will cost six hundred dollars. Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Congo: Eciba Ekyochi reports that I.B.K. is going on well. He thanks us for the funds sent to pay the teachers and staff for the Third Trimester 2017-18. Funds were also sent to pay a cook, and help provide food for the students for the First Trimester 2018-19. Because of the insecurity in the area, only the students from in and around Fizi are able to attend. Please pray for the disintegrating security in the whole of Congo. Assemblies of God Bible College, Bukavu, Congo: The college is going on well. There are twenty-one students in the First Trimester 2018-19. Funds were sent to pay two month’s salaries for the teachers, the secretary, a cook and a guard. Mukumo Jean Pierre, Community of the Assemblies of God, Bukavu, Congo: Jean Pierre is meeting with 222 primary and secondary school directors and prefects in the Baraka/Fizi area. He has also been invited to speak at the protestant military schools of The Church of Christ in Congo for South Kivu. Funds have been sent to assist him with travel expenses. Ralph and Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Bible Outreach Ministries, Kalemie, Congo: When we first went to Africa, we ministered in Tanzania for almost sixteen years. God certainly gave us a fruitful ministry there. In 1984 we visited Congo twice, sensing that the Lord was leading us to start a work there. In 1985 while visiting, God gave us the 98 acres of land that we now have! That was definitely a miracle. Stephanie came in May of 1986. She helped in the Bible school. She began treating small children with sores. We built a small hospital that is open and staffed 24/7. In 1991 Stephanie started feeding orphan babies. To date there are 800 or more babies who have been saved from premature death. Also in 1991, the primary school was opened. There are approximately 1,000 students attending primary and secondary school. About five years ago, Stephanie began taking food and medicine to the prison twice a week. Many lives have been saved. Now we are starting to build a Christian university. Looking back over all that God has done, we are trusting God to continue to provide just as He always has. To God be the glory! Ruth Scott Kellie, Molo, Kenya: Ruth writes, I am very grateful. I had a special need and it is just what I needed to fill it. I have been doing poorly but I am now improving with the medication. Thank you. Pastor Charles’ wife has been very ill and is in a hospital in Nakuru.

Chris Franz, Christ Is The Answer, Lake Mary, Florida: Chris will be leading a seminar in the south of Ethiopia. The town has many witch doctors. His coordinator writes, Things are going bad.
