September 2018 Newsletter

Dear Supporters and Friends, Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry. The Everlasting Covenant: Because Jesus was willing to come from glory and be offered up on the cross for our salvation, we can be made recipients of the salvation offered in the Everlasting Covenant.

“Now the God of peace, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20,21)

Covenant knowledge is the way to understand the ways and character of God. “He sent redemption unto his people; for he hath commanded his covenant for ever; holy and revered is his name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.” (Psalms 111:9,10)

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in times past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenant of promise, having no hope and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ..” (Ephesians 2:11-13)

Notes from, The Blood Covenant, Lucien Behar, Light on the Mountain Ministries, St. Petersburg, Florida. Alfred Kirubi, New Covenant Church, Ngong, Kenya: Kirubi writes, that we felt that we were bonded together for many years with Lou Pressman and Rick Vargas of Christ Ministerial Fellowship. The more we fellowshipped, the more the Lord continued to confirm His word in us. Lou and Rick were amazed that we have been in fellowship with OWM since 1973. There were two ministers’ seminars on Saturday. On Sunday, there were two services. It was such a blessing that the people did not leave until 2:00 pm. Some members called to say how much they were blessed. Kirubi is grateful for the funds sent which were used for food for the pastors’ seminar, and a meal for church members. And some pastors received funds for transport.

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kenya: Mugo reports that the Lord has been anointing the Word as we minister to His people everywhere we go. In August, he ministered in a seminar and performed a wedding in Kanyuambora. Then he went to Mwatate, Coast, for another seminar and wedding. The annual Omega convention was held in Marurui, in Nairobi, with over two hundred people, with different people ministering. Mugo thanks us very much for the monthly support that OWM forwards to him from those who are supporting him.

Samwel Ratanga, Free Pentecostal Church, Migori, Kenya: Ratanga reports that the walls of their new, larger, church building are now up to the top of the window sills. Ratanga thanks us for another donation received to help pay the builder and purchase materials. Ratanga is monitoring the construction every day. Ratanga is now believing God for the funds for the steel trusses.

Kennedy Maina, Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College, Nairobi, Kenya: Director Maina writes, "Blessings and glory to the Highest. The Lord has been gracious to us. We celebrate ninety students who have completed the training. Praise God for more laborers sent to the vineyard. He thanks us for the support sent for needy students." Richard & Kathy McDonald, Radio Kahuzi, Bukavu, Congo: The “D and M family” write, We praise the guidance of the LORD through the mastectomy (August 17) which took around three hours. Thanks to ALL your prayers. Surely we saw the Hand of the LORD and we are giving thanks to Him as well as we are continuing praying. We will be able to complete the mastectomy fees and buy several drugs that they are being given her. We will finish this path by burning by radiotherapy in the place where was the left breast. His grace is all we need, His power works best in weakness, He sent out his Word and healed us, snatching us from the door of death. Let us offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and sing joyfully about His glorious acts. Some funds were sent to help pay for the mastectomy. Chris Franz, Christ Is The Answer, Lake Mary, Florida: Franz writes that Danika had to wear a cleansing mask for ten months because her immune system would be triggered by mold, mildew, dust, the smell of perfume, pets, or even five minutes in the sun would put her in bed for twelve hours. On Sunday, August 5, she came to the service in Farmville where Franz was preaching. God told Danika that she was healed after she came back into the service. When the pastor put his hand on Danika’s shoulder, she felt a warm buzzing through her arm that continued to the center of her body. When she went to the bathroom to see if her cheeks were red with the reaction of being in a building, they were the normal color! She had never had them not be red, so it had to be an act of God. “I WAS HEALED!!!” (Chris Franz, a "missionary kid", went to Rift Valley Academy, in Kenya, with Jeff and our children when we served as missionaries in the Congo in the ‘80's.) Eciba Mboko Lutho, Community of the Assemblies of God in Africa, Bukavu, Congo: The wife of Lutho thanks us for the donation sent to purchase insulin and test strips for her husband's diabetes. Ruth Scott Kellie, Matumaini Children’s Center, Molo, Kenya: Ruth writes, I am overwhelmed with your kindness. I am sending my manager to go to Nakuru for some medication that I require urgently. Thank You for Your Prayers and Financial Support: Thank you for your prayerfully support for this missionary Bible teaching ministry. You may send your donations to one of the post box addresses in the signature block below. Designated funds are forwarded entirely. The Lord bless you. Yours together in His harvest, Charles Willner
