Assemblies of God in Congo

Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry. Harmony of End-Time Scriptures: There is an amazing harmony in Scriptures with regards to Christians being persecuted, but they are going to be overcomers in the Tribulation.

“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” (Daniel 7:21,22) “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21,22)

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ...whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:” (2 Thessalonians 2:1,3,8)

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11) Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kenya: Mugo reports that in April, he ministered in two pastor’s seminar, one in Chuka, and one in Meru town. A fellowship service for the Omega churches in Kirinyaga District was held at the Kianyaga church. Mugo has been upgrading the newer Toyota Rav4, four-wheel drive car. He has purchased insurance so he can drive it in ministry. Thank you to those who contribute monthly for the support of his ministry. Ekyoci Eciba Delphin, Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Congo: On behalf of I.B.K., many thanks were sent for us to continue the work of the Lord, and to ask God to continue to bless us to receive all we need for all the work that we are doing. Funds have been sent to pay four teachers, the secretary, and the guard. Additional funds were sent for student food. Funds were also sent for a new computer. Please continue to pray for Eciba. On his return to Fizi from an Administrative Council meeting in Bukavu, he had to spend a week in hospital being treated for pain from his deteriorating hip joint. Also pray for the mounting civil violence in the Congo. Assemblies of God in the Congo, Bukavu, Congo: Kamimbi Mussingilwa Jeremie has been chosen as Head Legal Representative. Mukumo Lukindula Jean-Pierre has been chosen as Assistant Legal Representative. Aoci Etungano Ebongya is President of evangelism, and Director of the Assemblies of God Bible College. All are receiving support them in their ministries. Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, International Bible College, Kalemie, Congo: Ralph writes; About three years ago, I had a dream about building a hexagon shaped building. As in many places, we have seen how many church youth were lost to the church after going to secular universities, and we have seen a need for Christian training beyond high school in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the diagram, each wing can accommodate about 200 students, plus the hexagonal office space in the middle. We have already seen the fruit of our K-12 academic school. Our school is the top school in our region and our graduates are popping up in different positions all over the country. Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. PS: Shirley and Ralph are being stationed Stateside from now on. Stephanie is “on the ground” in Kalemie, DRC. Richard and Kathy McDonald, Radio Kahuzi, Bukavu, Congo: Richard reports on the progress of the refugee family of four children. The first phase of the treatment of the mother for breast cancer is chemotherapy. She has finished the first two six week cycles of six cycles. For each cycle, they must pay $600. They are trusting the Lord for $1,500 for the mastectomy to remove the left breast. The father is being treated for injuries and poisoning he received. In order for the children to return to their schooling, approximately $2,050 will be required. Please continue to pray for and support Richard and Kathy McDonald, and Radio Kahuzi.

Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College, Nairobi, Kenya: The picture shows the students who attended the seminar that I conducted on the Gifts and Ministries of the Holy Spirit on my 2014 African Safari. There are approximately 200 students at N.P.B.C.. Monthly support is being sent to this Bible college.
