August 2014 Newsletter

Dear friends and supporters of this ministry, May the Lord bless you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry. He Who Dwells in You Is Perfect:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory;” (Colossians 1:27)

In order for us to reach complete sanctification, and become perfect, we need to realize who He is who is dwelling in us.

First, Jesus taught that if someone loves God and keeps his word, the Father and the Son would come and make their abode in that person. “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)

Further, Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. ... and (he) shall be in you” (John 14:16,17)

This is what the Word of God means when it says our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. “What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God,” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Just as the Word says that God dwells in Christ, so now we are complete in him. “For in him (Christ) dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” (Collossians 2:9,10)

Just as the fullness of God dwells in Christ, so the fulness of Christ dwells in His church. “And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:22,23)

Therefore we should be confident that we can be over comers. “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Mission Ministry: Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Church, Kianyaga, Kenya:

Joseph Mugo continues to travel among the his churches, holding pastor’s seminars and strengthening the churches. He appreciates our prayers and support so much. He is excited about my coming to minister this September. He is planning my meetings with his pastors. Mugo receives $300 a month, most of which he uses for his ministry. Please continue praying for Kenya. There have been more bombings by Muslim terrorists.

Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Dem. Rep, of Congo:

Director Eciba Ekyochi has reported on the Third Trimester 2013/14. Seventeen students finished the trimester, although there were no graduates. Students are interning in local churches, learning how to pastor, and teach Sunday School. Four “souls” received Jesus. Eciba is thankful for a printer. $900 was sent for the salaries of teachers and expenses in the Third Trimester. Pray for more support to buy beds, mattresses, sheets, and mosquito nets.

Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Kalemie, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

Ralph and Shirley Hagemeier describe their seventeen day trip to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary (1939 to 2014) of the American Assemblies of God at Mbeya, Tanzania. Getting there took fifteen hours across Lake Tanganyika from Kalemie, Congo, to Kigoma, Tanzania. From there, they flew to Dar es Salaam, and the next day they flew on to Mbeya. The three days of meetings were inspiring as the two main speakers and all of those invited spoke. Friday and Saturday there were 4,000 ministers present. Sunday 10,000 filled the stadium in a service attended by President Kikwete of Tanzania. The next day they visited the Bible school where they had previously taught thirty students, now there are one hundred forty five students. They visited their old mission house where Stephanie grew up. Back in Dar es Salaam they drove to Dodoma to the Bible school the Hagemeiers built forty-five years ago, which has grown from 200 students to 400. Back in Dar, they visited with Dan and Melinda Koehler and bought books for their Bible school in Kalemie.

African Safari 2014:

Preparations are continuing for my thirty-first African safari to Kenya and Congo for September through November. Plans are being made for six weeks of meetings in Kenya, and six weeks in Congo.

Three subjects are to be taught in pastor’s seminars; The Work of the Holy Spirit, The Second Coming of the Lord, and Pastoral Ministry. The estimated costs for this safari total 8,800.00 for; air tickets $2,800.00, visas $300.00, ministers $1,300.00, seminars $1,000.00, local transport and accommodations $1,900.00, emails $150.00, and personal expenses $550.00. Praise God that the goal of $8,800 for this safari has been surpassed with $8,964.00 having been received so far. The Lord willing, I will be leaving on September 2. Would you please pray for the anointing on these meetings, and health, strength and safety for me as I travel? Thank You for Your Prayers and Financial Support: May the Lord bless you for your prayerful financial support for this missionary Bible teaching ministry. You may send your donations to one of the post office box addresses in the signature block head below.

Yours together in His harvest,

Charles Willner
