Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.
Posses the Land: Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I give unto you, as I said unto Moses. ... There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage; ...Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant command-ed thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.” (Joshua 1:2,3,5-9)
Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kenya: Mugo had a busy month of ministry in December, with three marriages, and the youth convention in Matinia. One of their pastors was killed in a road accident. The four grand children living with them went to their homes for Christmas, while Mugo’s family celebrated in Kianyaga. The remaining funds have been loaned to Mugo to purchase a newer vehicle. All the documents for the ownership of the land for the Kianyaga church have been received. Thank you for your prayers and support for Mugo’s ministry.
Ekyoci Eciba Delphin, Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Congo: Support has been sent and received for the First Trimester 2017-18. A total of eighteen students finished the trimester. This was the pay for four teachers, a secretary, and a guard. Funds were also sent to purchase a computer, and for tea for the students. A gift was given for the secretary who is marrying. The secretary is doing a great job constructing all the records of the school, and traveling two days one way to collect the funds. For the first time, the Lord raised up two supporters to help with support. May God bless them.
Buulu Msembwa Andre, Assemblies of God, Kalemie, Congo: Buulu wrote to say that he is very sick and confined to the hospital in Bujumbura, Burundi. Funds were sent to comfort him. However, his secretary wrote to say that by the time these funds were received, Buulu had passed away. Buulu was my faithful interpreter in 1981-2, to translate for me while teaching in Bible school, and to escort me to preach in nearby churches on Sundays. He was a precious brother.
Aoci Etungano Ebongya, Assemblies of God Bible College, Bukavu, Congo: Unfortunately, OWM has not yet been able to establish a relationship to support AGBC. Sixteen students were reported to have finished the First Trimester 2017-18. A computer, and a printer/scanner were purchased for the offices of AGBC and the CADAF church. Funds were sent to purchase a generator. Please pray that a Bible college can be established for students who are called to the ministry, and teachers who can impart their knowledge and experience to them in worship and prayer.
