Mugo Church

Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

The Coming of the Lord: “When you therefore shall see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads let him understand); For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Immediately after the tribulation of those days ... then shall appear the sign of the Son of man ... coming in the clouds of heaven ... And he shall send his angels ... and they shall gather together his elect.” (Matthew 24:15,21,29-31)

We are coming closer and closer to the Return of the Lord. Quite obviously, there remains many end-time prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled. We do not have much time to be prepared to rule and reign with Christ in the coming kingdom. We have seen the fulfillment of the prophecies of the regathering of the nation of Israel to their own land, the pouring out of God’s Holy Spirit, and the fulfillment of the Times of the Gentiles. We are now facing the Tribulation, the ministry of the Two Witnesses, the judgments of God, the final battle of Armageddon, and the Return of the Lord.

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kenya: Mugo held a pastor’s seminar and teaching the new church members at Kambogo in Nakuru county. Pray that God will help Mugo to get a survey and the title for the one quarter acre of land that has been purchased for the Omega church at Kianyaga. Please pray that the registration and the title for the land will be forthcoming soon. The rerun of the presidential election has reelected President Kenyatta. Praise the Lord for the $5,147.94 that has been received for the purchase of a newer vehicle for Mugo’s ministry. Would you contribute to reach our goal of $6,000.00? Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Congo: Ekyoci Eciba reports that sixteen students have registered for the First Trimester 2017-18. Six students graduated with a three year diploma in July. Please continue to pray for normal operation of the classes because of insecurity in the region.

Ruth Scott Kellie, Matumaini Chil-dren’s Center, Molo, Kenya: Kellie is using the funds she received to help obtain the titles for her land, and that of Pastor Samwel Chibini and her farm manager, Charles. Samwel’s wife badly sprained her ankle recently carrying wood on the muddy yard. She will be able to get medical attention and crutches with the funds sent. The Center had a break in and the computers were stolen making it difficult to rebuild the children’s records. Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier and Stephanie, Kalemie, Congo: Ralph writes that that almost half of their support was received before they were approved to be missionaries for the American Assemblies of God in 1966. They served the A/G for seventeen years in Tanzania. Then they started again from zero support on October 1, 1983, in Kalemie, Congo. Now they have about twenty buildings; for K-12 students, Bible school students, a church, hospital, housing. Now they're focusing on building a Christian university. When asked, how do they do this, Ralph answers, Just God, and the Friends God has given them. Radio Kahuzi, Richard and Kathy McDonald, Bukavu, Congo: A technician from HCJB is resolving problems with the transmitter of Radio Kahuzi. It has been in daily service since 2001. The power company is trying to collect duplicate payments. There is only one turbine working for a city of two million people. It provides only a few hours of electricity sometimes less than 50 hertz, just enough to make everyone unhappy. So Radio Kahuzi has a backup system of large batteries and UPS storage units to supplement power. During the down time for the short-wave, the FM transmitter has been working to send out a clear message of our Lord Jesus Christ’s finished work at Calvary. Buulu Msembwa Andre, Assemblies of God, Kalemie, Congo: Buulu thanks us for the support sent to him. He was at the Prayer College in Kigali, Rwanda. All shipping was suspended, when he arrived at Uvira to get a boat back to Kalemie. He arrived back in Kalemie safely. Thank You for Your Prayers and Financial Support: Thank you for your prayerfully support for this missionary Bible teaching ministry. You may send your donations to one of the post box addresses in the signature block below. The Lord bless you. Yours together in His harvest, Charles Willner
