December Newsletter

Dear friends and supporters,

Thank you for your support for this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

Immanuel, God With Us:

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23) “Hereby know you that Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of anti-Christ,” (1 John 4:2,3)

Actually, it is the Christmas season that differentiates Christianity from every other religion. It is because Christ came to be born on this earth, that he is able to become our Savior. Further, “But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name.” (John 1:12) And, “He that overcomes shall inherit all things: and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Revelation 21:7)

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kianyaga, Kenya:

So far, a total of $5,934.17 has been received towards the goal of $8,000.00 for the purchase of a quarter of an acre in Kianyaga for the head-quarters church. Mugo writes that he has been busy conducting marriages in different churches and attending meetings in his churches as well as holding seminars. He also went to Nanyuki to bury a church member. Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Congo:

Director Ekyoci Eciba writes that seventeen students finished the First Trimester 2015/16. During the first trimester, the students went door to door preaching the Lord Jesus Christ, five souls received Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They met some one who had gone away from the CADAF church and had gone to another church. The students talked to him, and he returned back to CADAF. Praise the Lord. Then they talked to two others who were too weak to go to church. Through the students work, they are going to church daily. Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier and Stephanie, Kalemie, Congo:

The Hagemeiers are so thankful for fifty years of ministry. Ralph remem-bers preaching in a village in Tanzania where a Moslem man heard him, was converted, attended the Bible school Ralph and Shirley built in Dodoma, and who is now a pastor. Ralph remembers finding out that the woman seated on the bus beside had attended the Bible school in Dodoma. Ralph remembers a young man who was brought to his house after dark, concerned that the young man was speaking in tongues. Stephanie started receiving orphans twenty-four years ago. It is so refreshing when they come by when they are ten, fifteen, or twenty years old to meet the one who had kept them alive.

Masangu Lwenyeke, Church of the God Shepherd, Kalemie, Congo:

Masangu has served the Lord faithfully for more than thirty-five years. He was assistant pastor at the Kituku CADAF church in 1981. He oversaw the Cranford Memorial Health Clinic. When he was removed because of tribalism, he started the Church of the Good Shepherd at Kisebwe’s market near the Lukuga River bridge. They have finally paid for a good sized plot from Kisebwe and renovated a building for the church. Now they are beginning construction on a permanent building. They will need thousands of dollars to complete this project. Will you give your most generous offering to help them? Ruth Scott Kellie, founder Matumaini Children’s Center, Molo, Kenya:

Pas. Samuel writes that Kellie is doing well with her health. Pas. Samuel asks for more prayer. They have to go back to court to obtain a title deed for the land Kellie is donating to Samuel and Charles. We first met Kellie in 1973. Lutho Mboko, Community of the Assemblies of God in Africa, CADAF, Bukavu, Congo:

Please pray for Lutho. He is now the head of CADAF, the mission that the Willners worked with in the eighties. He suffers from diabetes, and he has to take a lot of rests in order to recover his strength. Pray that he will be able to purchase the treatments that he needs. Fifty dollars was sent to him. Thank You for Your Prayers and Financial Support: May the Lord bless you as you prayerfully support this missionary Bible teaching ministry. Please know that all of these national ministries are known personally to be faithful over many years. They are worthy of your support. Also, nothing is deducted from the support they receive for administration. That is covered by non-designated funds. Please send your donations to one of the post office box addresses in the signature block below. Thank you. Yours together in His harvest,

Charles Willner
