Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

The Creation of the Modern Day Israel:

One of the greatest signs of the return of the Lord is the creation of the state of Israel. “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? (or) shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” (Isaiah 66:8)

On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the president of the Jewish agency for Palestine, declared, the establishment of a Jewish state in Israel, to be known as the State of Israel. After the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492, some Jewish communities settled in Palestine.

In 1697, Rabbi Yehuda Hachasid led a group of 1,500 Jews to Jerusalem. The first modern migration to Ottoman-ruled Palestine began in 1881 as Jews fled pogroms in Eastern Europe.

In 1896, Theodor Herzl published, The State of the Jews, and the next year, he presided over the first Zionist Congress.

During World War 1, the Balfour Declaration of 1917 stated that Britain intended to create a Jewish “national home” within the Palestinian Mandate. In 1922, the League of Nations granted Britain a mandate over Palestine for Jews and Arabs.

On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly recommended the Partition Plan which specified the borders for new Arab and Jewish states, and also specified that Jerusalem would be administered under an international regime.

In the Six Day War of 1967, Israel captured the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, and enlarged Jerusalem to include East Jerusalem.

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Churches, Kianyaga, Kenya:

The Lord willing, we would like to purchase land for the headquarters church of the Omega Pentecostal Church by this September. A total of eight thousand dollars will be needed to buy a quarter of an acre of land. Mugo reports that one thousand one hundred fifty dollars has been raised from local supporters already. Now, we are asking individuals and churches in Canada and the United States to give generously. More than six hundred dollars has been received so far. This project will make it possible to move the head quarters church from the rented plot to their own property. Mugo writes that a church has been opened in South Nyanza, and Mugo has started another church in Gatugura, Kianyaga. Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Dem. Rep. Of Congo:

Director Ekyoci Eciba writes that fifteen students finished the Second Trimester 2014/15. Under the student’s ministry, six people have been converted, including two Muslims. Twelve students are expected to graduate in June. Funds were sent to purchase a Bible for each of them. Food supplements will be sent to Eciba to help rebuild his hip joint and reduce the pain. Pray for more support to increase the salaries of the four teachers, the secretary and the guard. More funds are needed to replace the broken beds, worn out mattresses, and sheets. Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier and Stephanie, Kalemie, Dem. Rep. Of Congo:

Ralph writes that on June 8th, he received a certificate showing that Ralph has been ordained for fifty years with the West Texas Assemblies of God. He went to Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible College in 1958, and graduated in 1962. He met and married Shirley at Bible college in 1961. While they were pasturing for four years, they had two children. They began their missionary ministry in Tanzania in 1967. They have been in the Congo for thirty years. Stephanie has been in Congo for twenty nine years. Ruth Scott Kellie, founder Matumaini Children’s Center, Molo, Kenya:

Ruth reports that the won the court case on May 27. Now she is asking for our prayers and support about the case in Nairobi for the land which she has donated to Pastor Samuel and her farm manager Charles. She is concerned that if the case goes against them, Samuel and Charles will lose their means of support for living. Wallace Njeru Kirigia, New Life Church, Igoji, Kenya:

Njeru reports that thirty three pastors attended his seminars from Tanzania and Malawi. They received the Word of God joyfully and thank fully for the great call of God. Njeru is worthy of your support for his ministry to about thirty churches in Kenya. Samwel Ratanga, Pentecostal Free Church, Migori, Kenya:

Ratanga would appreciate more funds to complete two church buildings. He is also worthy of your support. Masangu Lwenyeke, Church of the Good Shepherd, Kalemie, Congo:

Masangu has started construction of a permanent building for his church in Kalemie. Would you prayerfully consider supporting this project. I have known Masangu to be a faithful minister ever since 1978.
