June 2014 Newsletter

Dear Friends and Supporters,

May the Lord bless you for your support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

Complete Sanctification: “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ;” (1 Thessalonians 5:23) God has great expectations for us; to be completely sanctified by the coming of Jesus Christ. This is why Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. ... And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they may be sanctified,. by the truth” (John 17:17,19) This is accomplished by purging. “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear much fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.” (John 15:2,3) According to the Old Testament, on the Day of Atonement, those who do not afflict themselves to be purified shall be cut off from among their people. (Leviticus 23:29) We are told that we need to be careful of what kind of works we do. “Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” (1 Corinthians 3:12-16)

Mission Ministry: Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Church, Kianyaga, Kenya: Praise the Lord, the floor has been cemented in the head quarters church. This completes the construction of this church. Mugo uses most of the $300.00 that he receives in monthly support for his ministry; for food for the minister’s seminars, for transportation to these seminars, and for administrative expenses. Please continue praying for Kenya. There has been two more bombings in Nairobi by Moslem terrorists in recent weeks. Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Dem. Rep, of Congo: Director Eciba Ekyochi has reported on the Second Trimester 2013/14. Because of the students going out to preach on weekends, eighteen people became Christians, and forty have reconsecrated their lives. K.B.I. is thankful for the computer and generator that has been purchased. $1,280 has been sent to pay the salaries of three instructors, and the guard, for student tea, administrative costs, and to purchase a printer. Also Eciba asks us to pray for the healing his deteriorating hip joint.

Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Kalemie, Dem. Rep. of Congo: Ralph and Shirley Hagemeier describe the Bible school ministry that they had a large part of developing in Tanzania. In 1968 they arrived in Dodoma. In 1969, Ralph built the first permanent building for the Dodom Bible college. They purchased a total of twenty five acres for the campus. In 1980 they opened their first new facility on the main road with water, and electricity. As they were crossing Tanzania on their way to the Congo, they stopped to visit their Bible college in Dodoma, and spoke to the 240 students enrolled. This was their first time to speak there since 1982. Praise God for all those who are contributing to support the Hagemeiers in their missionary ministry.

African Safari 2014: Preparations are continuing for my thirty-first African safari to Kenya and Congo for September through November. Plans are being made for six weeks of meetings in Kenya, and six weeks in Congo. Three subjects are to be taught in pastor’s seminars; The Work of the Holy Spirit, The Second Coming of the Lord, and Pastoral Ministry.
