Thank you for your prayers and support for this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

The Work of the Holy Spirit:

“It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart; I will send him, unto you.” (John 16:7)

It is absolutely amazing to realize how much the Holy Spirit is involved in our complete salvation. The Holy Spirit will convict of sin. We are born again by the Spirit. The indwelling of the Spirit confirms our salvation. The Spirit is our Teacher. We have the mind of Christ. We are sanctified by the Spirit. The Spirit protects us. The Spirit enables us to put off our old nature and put on the new. We are to manifest the fruit of the Spirit. The Spirit baptizes us into the body of Christ. We are to be baptized into the Holy Spirit in order to receive the gifts of the Spirit; Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Discerning of Spirits, Power, Healing, Miracles, Faith, Prophecy, Interpretation of Tongues, and Tongues. The Spirit is our Intercessor. The Spirit of adoption conforms us to the image of Christ. The ministries of the Spirit are; Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. And it is the Holy Spirit that shall quicken our mortal body to raise us from the dead in the resurrection! Mission Ministry:

Joseph Mugo, Omega Pentecostal Church. Kianyaga, Kenya:

Mugo believes that as the world becomes more tense the coming of the Lord Jesus is ap-proaching. “It generates anticipation, hope and unspeakable joy to know that we will be a part of his government.” He has just received the one hundred plastic chairs he had ordered for their headquarters church for the Omega Pentecostal Churches. Bro. Mugo has been so faithful with the $1,265 he has received from Open Word. His churches are expected to contribute an equal amount to finish the church.

Joseph and Josephine have already contributed the profit from marketing their harvest. Mugo reports that they held a beautiful baptism in Embu. His Omega churches are doing well in Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Nairobi, and Coast. Mugo is thankful for the $300.00 support that he receives each month.

Kalembelembe Bible Institute, Fizi, Dem. Rep, of Congo:

Director Eciba Ekyochi has reported on the First Tri-mester 2013-14. There were twenty students. Eciba reports that students are holding morning, and dormitory prayers. The gifts of the Spirit are being manifest-ed in their chapel, and they are going out to preach on weekends. $1,091.00 was sent to pay for the salaries of three teachers, and a guard, for student tea, and to buy a generator to power the computer which was bought last trimester.

Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Kalemie, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

Ralph reports how they are using funds donated to their ministry. On the 98 acre campus in Kalemie there is plenty of maintenance for roads, buildings, and grass. During the last year, they have completed their library. Besides many books coming in a container, they have ordered many more from Dar Es Salaam. Local churches are assisted in their buildings. milk is provided for widows, medical supplies for Stephanie’ children’s clinic. Then the Lord has provided to buy a vehicle for missionary friends in Tanzania.

Wallace Njeru Kirigia, Sonship Ministry, Igoji, Kenya:

Kirigia was one of the students in our Overcomer Teaching Center in Meru in 1973/74. He has gone on to oversee a fellowship of about thirty churches in the Meru district. A couple of years ago he completed rebuilding a permanent church building with proceeds from a road widening next to the older church. I had put on the first roof on the older church in 1973. With the growth in his fellowship, Kirigia is receiving more guest preachers. So a second $300 has been sent to help him rebuild his house.
