February 2013 Newsletter

Dear Friends of this ministry,

"With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early; for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness." (Isaiah 26:9)

If you are listening to the news, it seems we are fast approaching the time when the enemies of Israel are about to cross the "line in the sand" for military action. We must pray for Israel as they face the imminent threat of nuclear attack. Israel knows that if they do attack, that the surrounding Muslim nations will unite to retaliate against Israel. This will draw all of the nations of the world into the Battle of Armageddon, the last great battle of this age.

It is more necessary than ever that we seek after the Lord. We are fast approaching the time when the judgements of God are going to be manifested on the earth. Let us learn the righteousness of the Lord so that we may be preserved in the day of the wrath of the Lord.

Missions Ministry:

Joseph Mugo, Kianyaga, Kenya:

Mugo has received $300 support for February, and $250 has been loaned to repair rust spots on his vehicle. He writes that they are hopeful that the people of Kenya will react calmly with the results of the election. Mugo writes that the people of Kenya are activists, and civically motivated. This engagement with politics is in the beginning is destabilizing the country, but then, this is what makes the government better. People are very determined and motivated to stand in line to join a suffocating queue, brave the hunger, hot sun, and near stampedes and vote several hours late into the night. For Kenyans it is personal, so personal, that it makes it impossible for good people to think straight.

Uhuru Kenyatta leads with over six million votes and he is evidently the fourth president of Kenya. Uhuru is the son of Jomo Kenyatta, the first president of Kenya. There is a mood of celebration all over the country.

Ruth Scott Kellie, Molo, Kenya:

Kellie has just received $100 for her personal needs in her retirement. She said that she is doing well when I called her.

Firdas Ulumwene, Uvira, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

Firdas thanked me for the $100 he has just received. He asks for more help for the graduation of his students in May. He is still hoping that I will be coming again to ministry in Congo.

C.E.L.P.A. Hospital, Bukavu, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

One thousand dollars has been forwarded for solar-powered lighting at the hospital at their hospital in Bukavu. These funds are being used to instal emergency lighting in the operating room and in the maternity. Their most pressing need now is for funds to pay for the medical care of those who cannot afford it.

Ralph & Shirley Hagemeier, and Stephanie, Kalemie, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

$50 has been sent for their ministry. Wile Ralph and Shirley were traveling in Texas, Shirley slipped on some cement steps and broke both bones in one of her feet just above the ankle. After setting the bones and putting her foot in a splint, they returned to their home i Pueblo, Colorado, where her foot was operating on during three days in the hospital. She is walking now with an walker. So now, they are planning to return to Congo in May.

Kalembelembe Bible Insitute, Fizi, Dem. Rep. of Congo:

$1,055 was sent for the salaries of four teachers, and a guard for the First Trimester of 2012-13. Please pray that some church or several individuals will take up the support of the Bible school. This school has been supported with my personal funds ever since 1993.

Praise God for your faithful financial support of this missionary Bible teaching ministry.

Yours together in His harvest,

Charles WIllner
