Open Word Ministries is "a missionary Bible teaching" ministry.

Open Word Ministries is a faith ministry, supported by the free-will offerings of those prompted to give. Therefore, everyone with O.W.M. must believe the Lord to meet their personal needs.

Open Word Ministries is committed to the principle that all monies shall be used entirely for the purpose given. Undesignated funds are used to meet the needs of the ministry and the administration costs.

Open Word Ministries is committed to the indigenous local church, that is each ministry assisted by O.W.M. must be self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating.
